How to find the Model number of your electric shaver

Where to find the Model # on your Philips / Norelco Shaver
On NEWER models, the model # is shown (without the prefix) on the front of the shaver. Example: HQ3845 shaver shows "3845" just below the "Philishave" logo. After removing the head assembly you can find the model # printed on the triangular top frame. On all new HQ series shavers the first part of the model # is the shaverhead type. Model HQ6885 uses HQ6 heads, HQ3845 uses HQ3 etc...	On OLDER models, if the # is not shown on the front of the shaver, you'll find it stamped into the back housing near the power cord socket. Where to find the Model # on your Braun Shaver
On NEWER models, the shaver model number is shown on the bottom front of the unit. A different (4 digit) shaver number is shown on the bottom back near the power cord socket. Either number will allow you to select the correct Screen & Cutter on our Replacement Head page. Please note: Universal is not a model code. It indicates that the unit is a Universal Voltage model.
